Fans said they were delighted with the news
The BBC has confirmed a TV series axed 15 years ago will be making a return to screens.
Fans have been sent into a frenzy after hearing they can now watch an old TV favourite once more.
BBC children’s gameshow Raven first aired in 2002 and enjoyed eight years of success.
But it was axed in 2010 before returning seven years later with a rebrand and new host.
The original version was fronted by James Mackenzie – the epic warlord Raven who donned a feathered cape and held a staff.
During the reboot, Aisha Toussaint was at the helm of the show.

Raven was then pulled from the air once again after just two seasons, Mirror reports.
But it is now set to make a return to screens, with former host James confirming the news on social media.
He said on X, formerly known as Twitter, that the show would be available for streaming on BBC iPlayer.
James said: “RAVEN IS BACK ON @BBCiPlayer what the actual??!! Enjoy young warriors, #letthechallengebegin.”
It is understood that 20 episodes will be available on iPlayer.
Fans shared their joy, with one commenting: “ICONIC. This was MY childhood show.”
Another said: “Oh I will! Time to relive the best childhood known to man!!.”
A third viewer wrote: “Omg see everyone in 3-4 business days I have matters to attend to.”
One fan penned: “Funny, I was just thinking this when I was watching Traitors. I missed this. I want more shows like this since I’ve learned I missed various ones that came out before/around the time I was born. This was great fun to watch.”
Others were just grateful for the nostalgia, adding: “Thanks for the tip! Time to re-visit my childhood.
One person added: “I used to love watching this as a kid, glad the show (and its awesome host) are back.”
Raven can be streamed on BBC iPlayer.
