West Midlands Police has issued a statement after responding to an incident at a Birmingham school today.
Police were called to the site on Brook Lane, in Billesley, on Tuesday, March 18.
It followed a report that a 13-year-old pupil’s face was cut by another pupil just before 11am.

Police said the victim was thankfully not seriously injured.
Police said a second girl was spoken to by officers.
The force is liaising with staff at the school.

Police inquiries are ongoing.
A police spokeswoman told BirminghamLive: “We were called to a school in Brook Lane, Billesley, today (Tues) after it was reported a pupil’s face was cut by another pupil just before 11am.
“Thankfully the injury was not serious and the 13-year-old did not need hospital treatment.
“A second girl has been spoken to by officers and we are liaising with staff at the school as enquiries continue.”
