A man has been charged after police officers were allegedly abused in Birmingham city centre.
West Midlands Police said that Wayne Abbotts was arrested on New Street, in Birmingham, on Sunday, February 16.
Birmingham Proactive Crime Team from Op Skybridge detained the 50-year-old.

He has now been charged with racially aggravated harassment and harassment.
The suspect has been remanded into custody.
He is due to appear before JPs at Birmingham Magistrates Court today, Tuesday, February 18.

In a statement, police said today, Tuesday, February 18: “A man has been charged after he was abusive to our officers.
“Wayne Abbotts, 50, was arrested on Sunday (16 Feb) in New Street, Birmingham.
“Officers from our Birmingham Proactive Crime Team, Op Skybridge, arrested the 50-year-old man.
“He has now been charged with racially aggravated harassment, and harassment.
“He was remanded in custody to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court today (Tuesday).”
